The shoes definitely help Jack walk on pavement. Jack, an Irish Setter is definitely rough on his shoes and after two weeks we started getting holes in the bottom of the shoes. However, we have ordered two more pairs because these are definitely the best shoes we have tried so far. Most importantly these shoes do a good job protecting his feet.

These dog shoes have worked well for our 13 year old Golden Retriever. She has pronounced weakness in her hindquarters and couldn't get around very well on our wooden floors. Watching her slide between carpeted areas was sad.These dog shoes have helped significantly, although she now "clomps" around noisily and sometimes doesn't lift her paws high enough when going up steps. We got size "medium" and they fit tightly, which is good. They take a bit of work to get on. We initially bought only one pair - for her rear paws, but later bought a second pair for her front paws and using them on all four paws seems to work better.

Made very well, I am using them in conjunction with a leg splint. I will know in the future how well this works.

The shoes are providing traction for our small Labrador retriever that had a spinal injury. We have put them on her back legs that has partial paralysis. They are a bit clunky and heavy, but overall do provide traction. They sometimes slip down and if she gets excited, have totally slipped off. Not exactly fashionable, but functional Would like them if they were lighter, had more traction, and somehow managed to stay on better.

These boots have been a great help for Gus. He has arthritis in his rear joints and was slipping all over our tile and wood floors. He would just stay in one place rather than slip and slide. The rubber sole on the boots grips great and the boots are snug and stay on his feet quite well. Now he's all over the place like the youngster he used to be!
