This leg brace for dogs is designed for pets who suffer from arthritis, mild to moderate hip dysplasia, decreased endurance during activity, hip pain, low back pain or weakness and back leg limping. The leg brace is also appropriate for puppies and young dogs who suffer from low back pain and early hip dysplasia symptoms. The leg brace also supports the low back and hip area for dogs recovering from surgery or injury. It is also useful for older dogs who have difficulty getting around easily. The support and stability provided by the brace helps decrease pain and inflammation while being active.
The leg brace is designed for dogs of all ages and sizes. The brace is available in small, medium and large and the brace unit is adjustable. Your order will include the neoprene brace and harness. It comes in a nylon mesh draw-string bag for easy and clean storage. Just throw the bag in the back of your car and head out for fun with your dog. Since the brace is designed to be used when your dog is active, you can leave the harness on and slip the neoprene brace on and off as needed.

Our 13 year old female German Shepherd has recently developed hip dysplasia to the extent that her legs would collapse and spread opposed sideways such that she could not push her body to an upright position. We researched the internet to find a solution and discovered Ortho Dog. She now has a fairly normal life and the brace appears to hold the leg ball into the hip socket so she does not straddle her legs. thanks for extending our dogs life and saving her from pain and fear.

Did not help. Actually made it more difficult for my dog to stand.

I found this item to be very overpriced and not very effective. We returned the item

When I ordered this product I specifically told whomever that it was for a corgi.It isn't big enough for his chest and the leg part is made for a boxer not a dog with legs that are like 8 inches long. I am bitterly disappointed. It hasn't helped because it is not designed for a short, big, dog.

I ordered the Hip Brace for my 15.5 year old border collie. After placing the brace on her, there was a noticeable improvement immediately in her confidence and of course, mine as well. The brace supports her right hip area greatly and caringly enough for her to be much more active, especially running and jumping again. The brace is an adjunct to the standard veterinary treatment she undergoes for osteoarthritis such as anti-inflammatory medications.
