Product Description
This rear support harness was designed especially for dogs that have problems supporting their own weight on their back legs. This harness is an ideal solution for pets that have hip dysplasia, arthritis, spinal myelopathy, or any other condition that affects the strength and dexterity of their hind legs. The harness is great for getting pets in and out of vehicles, up and down stairs, and even for taking your pet on casual walks. When properly fitted, a male and female dog can urinate and deficate with the harness on.
The support harness is made of neoprene and is machine washable. The X-Small and Small sizes need only one handle for support while the larger sizes have two handles. This harness is very comfortable and can be left on the dog for extended periods of time. When indoors just grab the handle when necessary to aid your pet to an upright position.

Measurements A and B are the only measurements that are relevant. Measurements C and D are for the Front Support Harness.

My 13 year old newfie hated it. He refused to walk or sit up with it on. It was not very easy to manage. Looks simple but actually getting him to stand as I put his legs thru the leg openings was impossible after the first time he had it on. Definitely did not work as pictured nor as I hoped!

The support harness works great if you get the correct size. I used it on our golden retriever 1st. She had cancer and could not walk on her hind legs. It was more ergonomic than using a towel. Now it is being passed to my german shepherd, she has arthritis. I use it whenever she needs additional support in her walking. She wobbles when she walks. Great idea!

This is a well designed well made product. It has improved my ability to help my dog adjust to her muscle loss. I was skeptical at first unsure whether it would fit my dog's body type effectively. After returning the first attempt we got the correct size and began using it as needed. Livi accepted it rather quickly. I use it on her weaker days. I can catch her if she stumbles, help her with elimination and maneuver her more effectively. It helps save my body from over exertion, especially my lower back.I don't leave home with out it. Either I put it on before we leave or I bring it along in case we need it. Once I got the hang of it it goes on very easy. My only concern is the long straps that hang down the back. I do not leave it on if I am not at home in-case she could get tangled. I am trying different ways of making sure they are out of the way when she is lying down. That said. We both love it and thank you.

we went back and forth between the Medium/Large and the Medium. while the Medium fits Stimey better it does not stay on him throughout the night. we decided to keep both sizes in case 1 gets dirty and we need the other for a back up. we do use a wheelchair as well but this allows to take him out for quick bathroom break and has been working well.
