Frontline Plus for Dogs and Cats, 3/28/2012

Linda Gladden from Hardyville, Kentucky

I've been using Frontline for years, (since it first came on the market in fact) and it is the one product that actually does what it says it will. We have a 55 acre farm and we treat all 14 of our cats (all spayed and neutered of coarse) and our 4 dogs. I only wish you had a product for horses too. Any way Frontline is the BEST product I have ever used for fleas and ticks. And now I can purchase it at a price that won't make me cry. Even with all the strays and wild animals that come through here we have never had a flea or tick infestation indoors or outdoors, and I know they are out there. Thank you Frontline. And thank you State Line Tack for making it affordable too. Linda Gladden

Fantastic Product, 7/25/2011

KShot from Upper Midwest

Have used this on our dogs (had 5 up until a year ago when we lost one due to death) and 1 to 2 cats for 5 years now. FANTASTIC product. We live in an area where there are a lot of ticks and I have only seen 2 ticks (both on the surface of the hair) on my dogs in that time and not a single flea. All my pets have free run of of the place as they go in and out of their own free will. GREAT STUFF! Get it you won't regret it.

Frontline Plus, 5/2/2011

Peggy Summerville from Corsica, PA

I tried Advantix which made my Yorkie itchy so I switched to Frontline Plus. I am fostering a small Jack Russell mix and also put Frontline Plus on her, neither dog has ever had any fleas or ticks. Great Product, it deserves 5 stars and more.

Love frontline & frontline plus, 8/12/2010

janet from

I have used frontline since 1999 and frontline plus for 3 years. I love the stuff. I use it once a month all year. If you're still having problems with flea's or tick's, you have to treat your home, yard and of course your dog. If you have a flea problem in your home: vacuum, vacuum, and vacuum. Then fog your home and treat your yard where your furry family member goes to do his or her business. People say, "But I have wood floors." Fleas get around the baseboards too. We treat our yard 4 times, sometimes more a year. If you have stray dog's or cat's running loose in your neighborhood and they are not treated, you're going to get fleas or ticks. The flea or tick has to bite the dog in order for it to kill the bugs. That goes for advantage & advantic. I used them both. Throw away your vacuum cleaner bag after vacuuming really well.

terrible product, 4/22/2010

steve from

Used this for a 6 months on my golden retriever. In the winter it worked fine, we had a trying of warm days in the spring after taking a walk in the woods I pulled off 31 deer ticks... 31!!!! I called the company and the following is what i was told. The active ingredient takes up to 24 hours after contact with the dog or biting of the dog. I then asked what was the point of buying a product to reduce the chances of lime disease when i takes until after a bite to work! the rep told me quote "lime disease is not transfered in a bite until after 48 hours" QUOTE! Like somehow the bacteria abides by some rules of physics. Perhaps it was a bad dose i offered the batch number, maybe not but if this is the companies official stance, i have to question their legitimacy. Switched to K9 advantix... love it

Frontline Plus, 1/13/2010

Brian from Scio, Oregon

I have used this for years and have never fully gotten rid of fleas on my indoor dogs and cats. I had an economic crisis and let go flea treatment to save on the budget. Suddenly we are overrun with fleas! It wasn't perfect, but its better than the alternative.

And she is outside half And half I would say. So keep using it!!! I love this stuff. And it is the cheapest place to get it!!!!!! ( at least around here

Frontline, 7/6/2009

Linda from Murray, KY

Tick infestation is high where we live. I have used Frontline from the beginning with our two Shih Tzus and one Jack Russell. We have never seen a flea, and only dead, dried up ticks. We wait a few days after their bath before applying the Frontline, so as to have enough natural skin oil to help distribute the medication.

don't waste your money, 6/29/2009

sharon from ga

I used frontline plus on my two dogs and my cat. It is worthless, they all still have fleas, although we haven't had any ticks. Our big dog is senstive to fleas and we just got back from the vet,$160.00 dollars to "fix" the flea problem that we shouldn't have because we've been using frontline. So now I have almost $200 worth of flea medicine that dosn't work.

Frontline Plus Give the best protection, 5/21/2009

John from Port Republic, Md

This product is used by both professionals and homeowners alike. It gives the best protect that money can buy for your per. One note, If you bathe your dog, DO NOT put Frontline on the pet for at least 3 days after you bathe the pet. The reason? Your dog/cat has skin/hair oils that need to be replaced after you wash your pet and Frontline is systemic, the oils help to keep the Frontline on the pet, and get it into his/her system.

Frontline Plus compared to Advantix, 2/21/2009

Theresa Stone from Greensboro, NC

Last summer I switched to Advantix and boy was I sorry. My poor dogs had fleas and ticks after a bath because the advantix washed away with the bath water. My dogs had terrible allergic reaction and skin problems until I switched back to frontline plus. Won't do that again. I'm Frontline forever.

YOU HAVE THE REAL STUFF! , 10/3/2008

Terisa from WA

I just purchaced Frontline Plus from you for our dog and cat. I took my dog into the vet today and mentioned that he was on Frontline. She questioned me because I did not buy it from her. She said if that was all I spent I had bought a counterfit product. She gave me the website to go to (Frontline.com) and to check the packaging. She said the packaging should look the same and that the website would tell me how to tell if it was counterfit. WELL I DID! I was so scared that I did something wrong and you know what.....YOU HAVE THE REAL STUFF! My vet was in shock! She said she had never seen it so cheap and the real stuff! So thank you for putting me at ease and selling the real stuff for a great price! THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Effective and Easy to Use!, 9/11/2008

melody from baltimore, md

I've been using Frontline Plus for almost 6 years now and it is the best! Just squirt a full packet between the shoulder blades (I part and trim the hair short in this area) as long as it reaches the skin of your pet, saturate the spot. My dog was in the Pine Barrens of NJ running like crazy in the brush for 30 minutes and this place is full of ticks. I brought her indoors and check her each time, no ticks or fleas. Although I did find it cheaper with free shipping at another website. This stuff is great!

I have found Frontline to be very ineffective against fleas and ticks. My poor dogs would come back with fleas and I'd have to spray with Adams flea off. When we used up the package, I went back to Advantage.

Frontline Plus - A Life Saver, 4/6/2008

mary ann from glenwood, MD

We lived in NC when I acquired my cavalier puppy - and NEVER had Ticks - but then, we relocated back to MD and within a few days - both of our dogs were infested with ticks, even though I bathed them everyday. They both got lyme disease and were treated with antibiotics and are just fine now. But I have been using Frontline since relocating back to MD - NO MORE ticks!! The product is great - but you need to be diligent about using it every month without fail.

Frontline Plus works, but is a nuisance to apply, 4/2/2008

Suzanne from Maine

While the product seems effective, it's a nuisance to apply. The package says to apply it in one spot, but there is no way to get the entire dose in a single spot, so it drips and runs into the dog's hair. The end of the dispenser is sharp, which is annoying to the dog. If there was an easier, effective way to treat the dog for fleas and ticks, I'd buy it.

Frontline Plus, 1/11/2008

Ruth Cunningham RN from Sisney,ME

I am a breeder of AKC Chihuahuas in Maine. I used Frontline Plus exclusively and wouldn't even think of trying another flea prevention product. My vet swears by it and so do I. When I have rescued flea infested puppies and apply Frontline Plus, I can actually watch the fleas droping off within minutes. My dogs never have a flea. What a good feeling to know I am doing the very best for my precious pets. YankeeBelleChihuahuas

cheapest frontline, 10/8/2007

kp from bburg va

Ive looked around everywhere and this is by far the cheapest Ive found Frontline! Works just as well if not better then Advantage which is a lot more, esp if you want to take care of ticks as well Plus, advantage doesnt have 1 treatment that is big enough for my 120 lb St. Bernard! The sales person for Advantage said, why dont you just use 2 applications on her UMmm... or I could just save money and buy Frontline here!

Advised by Veterinary Diplomates As BEST!, 6/20/2007

Constance Standley from Eustis, Florida

I have been training Service Dogs for a little over 34 years now. Floridas climate and where we live has been extremely rough on some of the dogs, and me. We have a very high ammount of tick disorders. Two of our world famous Service Dogs were found to have several tick illnesses even though the former vet we were with had recomended putting them on Revolution. When they became ill and ended up in the hands of the top veterinarians, we found out how to really protect them. Sentinel, FRONTLINE PLUS, and a good tick collar. Connie

Great stuff, 4/18/2007

Susan from Port Lavaca, Texas

This works better than any other stuff on the market. I have two long-haired chihuahuas, and this lasts a full month on one dog, and almost that long on the other one. For some reason, one dog is greatly bothered by fleas, and no product will keep the fleas off for a full month, but this comes closest. Easy to apply, no smell, and doesnt harm the dogs.

Great Product, 3/30/2007

Barbara from Windsor, MO

I have 3 dogs that live in and outside of the house, I love this product. I have tried others, it does not have an application smell like oranges. After a couple of hours the application is absorbed in the skin so you dont have to worry about petting them and then having to clean you had. Which is great with the kids. I have not had a flee infestation since the use of this product. It is simple to use and takes seconds to apply.

Wonderful!, 10/16/2006

Bee from PA

We have used many products on our dogs over the years, from collars to sprays to powders. I have never been so impressed with a product as I have with Frontline Plus. Since using this product I have yet to find one flea or tick present on my dog (even when dogs playing in the same area ended up with them). In an area such as ours where deer ticks are a major concern and problem we take no chances when it comes to providing our pets with the best protection possible. We will more than likely never switch to anything else!
